A recent (and fun to read) thread of comments on a pic on my fb account has got me thinking about all that was said there.

The text below the line is out of date and I've been seeing a lot of google referrals for itunes 9 and 5.1 audio.
I'll update now with my current status:

Currently running iTunes 9.0.3.15 on Windows 7 Professional x86
Creative SoundBlaster xFi Extreme Audio PCIe x1 card.
Speakers are set up as 5.1 in Windows speaker setup.

Every once and awhile I'll notice that a perfect gradient in photoshop saved for web (and still looking good when viewed on my computer) will render in firefox (and others) looking like total crap and banded to hell.

It seems this happens once a week for me and the only recourse is to stop what I'm doing and restart the computer.

"iTunes.exe is not a valid Win32 application."

All I wanna do is listen to some music!
