"Dear Steve, Where've You Been??"

Hiya!

I've been up to my neck in client jobs, side projects, and personal endeavors!

Lots of paying gigs is a good thing, lots of side projects make the friends and barter-buddies happy, and the personal endeavor is a 1973 BMW 2002!

I wanted one for ages, and finally knicked one off of craigslist some many weeks ago.   If you're into the radical BMW car-to-rule-all-others, please check out my project blog at http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,50/page,viewtopic/t,324456/

And here's a photo of the car in question:

Exhausted! Work, Drupal, iLife, Picasa, Live Gallery

Been a tiring and fast week.  Am currently listening to some Pandora (Pocket Calculator - Kraftwerk), and finishing up another Drupal theme for a client.

Photoshop Chainlink Brush (40 second brush mania)

Sometimes I realize obvious things long after I wasted time doing something the hard or ugly way, please tell me I'm not alone on this.

I often use linked chain graphics for video games I'm working on and it's one of those repetative tasks that is a slowdown in the workflow.

It dawned on me that instead of duplicating some chain shape or layer over and over, transforming its angle each and every time, was idiotic!

A simple brush shape takes about 40 seconds to make and implement.
